Flinders University Indigenous Education Placement Scholarship 2024

The Indigenous Education Placement Scholarship has been established to recognise the deep appreciation of the knowledge, capacity and potential leadership that indigenous people can bring to country. The scholarship aims to assist Indigenous preservice teachers on remote placements.

This scholarship aims to reduce the financial burden of placements and enable students to develop their skills while contributing to a regional or remote community

Aim and Benefits

The scholarship is intended to contribute to accommodation, travel, and general living expenses, associated with the placement. It may also compensate for the loss of income and the costs related to maintaining their usual place of residence during the semester.
