The Associate Degree in Agribusiness, Undergraduate Certificate in Agriculture and Undergraduate Certificate in Agribusiness are stepping stones for future leaders and managers. This generous support has been set up by Blundstone Australia Pty Ltd and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania to support students with course costs including the costs associated with attending a series of intensive workshops that will form part of the Associate Degree in Agribusiness.
The University College offered the Associate Degree in Agribusiness for the first time in 2017. This innovative 2-year full time course blends business studies in management, finance, marketing and planning with technical skills in agriculture to develop graduates who are able to apply knowledge of business management in practical agribusiness settings. In 2024 the donor’s contribution was extended to support the Undergraduate Certificate in Agriculture and Undergraduate Certificate in Agribusiness.
