The University of Kent welcomes international students from around the world and is pleased to be able to offer a number of scholarships for entry at undergraduate level.
These awards will be paid towards the cost of tuition fees for up to three years of study (subject to achieving an average of 60% in the first and second years) and are offered to nationals of any country paying overseas fees.

Scholarship value up to £18,000 (£6000 per year for up to 3 years of study)
Requirements
Applicants for this scholarship will need to demonstrate the following:
- Students must have at least AAA at A level or equivalent overseas qualification.
- Submitted a formal application for a full time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Kent, due to start in September 2024.
- Received a formal offer of a place (conditional or unconditional) for their chosen programme of study.
- Students do not have to have accepted their offer to be eligible, however students who have declined their offer or who have made Kent their insurance choice will not be considered.
Please note that this scholarship is only available to students assessed as overseas fee payers.
- Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.
- Applicants who have applied for KMMS programmes are not eligible.
- Applicants who have applied for a degree which includes a foundation year are not eligible.
Interview date, Process and Venue
- Scholarships will be shortlisted based on academic achievement to date. Final decisions will also take into consideration your full programme application including your personal statement and any references received.
- The final recruitment and selection panel(s) will take place in the week commencing 29 April 2024. Applicants will be notified of the final decision shortly thereafter. If successful, scholarship offer must be accepted within 2 weeks of award.
- The University of Kent reserves the right not to allocate the awards if the selection panel identifies no suitable candidates.
- The International Scholarship is subject to full University of Kent Scholarship Terms and Conditions, which will be provided to successful candidates at the point of award.

Applications for the International Scholarship must be made via your applicant portal. Once logged in, click on the applications tab, and select your submitted application. Click on the funding button. You will then see a list of scholarships that you may be eligible to apply for. You will be able to apply for the International Scholarship once you have received an offer. Click on Apply and follow the steps to submit your application.
