The University of Edinburgh Clinical Management of Pain Postgraduate Scholarship application are open for 2024-2025 academic session Three scholarships are available for the Clinical Management of Pain programme offered by the University.
Aim and Benefits
We are offering 3 scholarships, for the sum of £1000 each. It is hoped that scholarships award holders will use the skills and knowledge they develop for the benefit their local communities.
These awards will be tenable for 1 academic year and will be automatically deducted from your tuition fee.
Please note, this scholarship will contribute towards fees, and does not offer full funding for the degree.
Requirements
The scholarships will be awarded to new applicants who have been offered a place on the following online distance learning programmes at the University of Edinburgh commencing in September 2024:
- Clinical Management of Pain MSc
- Clinical Management of Pain Postgraduate Diploma
- Clinical Management of Pain Postgraduate Certificate
Students and students on PG programmes longer than one year may apply but must be aware that this funding is for one year only, therefore, students are advised to budget accordingly.
Interview date, Process and Venue
Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, the equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level. Further information on the entry requirements for the programme can be found on the website here.
Candidates must also include a personal statement which addresses each of the following questions (3500 characters maximum):
- What specific elements of this programme attracted you to the University of Edinburgh?
- How will successful completion of this programme at the University of Edinburgh benefit your own career and personal development?
- How will successful completion of this programme at the University of Edinburgh enable you to contribute to your community/region or

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 27 June 2024.

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.
The scholarship deadline is 23:59 BST 30th May 2024.

Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
When logging in to MyEd, you will need your University User Name and password. If you require assistance, please go to http://www.ed.ac.uk/student-systems/support-guidance If you have not applied for admission, please go ahead and do this and you will receive your University User Name and password.
