2024 Durham University Inspired Hunt Scholarship for Undergraduate Students

We are delighted to announce the introduction of the Hunt Scholarship generously supported by Durham Alumnus and former Netflix CPO, Dr Neil Hunt.

The Hunt Scholarship will provide financial support to the schollars for the duration of the recipients' Computer Science Programme.

All Computer Science programmes - applicants reading Natural Sciences, with a significant proportion of their modules in Computer Science, may also apply

Aim and Benefits

The Hunt Scholarship will provide £4,000 per year for the duration of the recipients' Computer Science Programme.

Requirements

Students should have a household income below GBP 42,875 (as determined by Student Finance England).
Students need to be the first generation in their immediate family to attend a University.
Students must be from a background currently underrepresented in Computer Science.

Interview date, Process and Venue

All eligible applications for the Hunt Scholarship will be considered on the basis of their personal statement, reference and academic status
Other scholarship awards may also be taken into account when considering the allocation of the scholarship
The University may use additional datasets to identify applicants who come from neighbourhoods with low overall progression to higher education or high levels of socio-economic deprivation

A completed scholarship application form
Provide a copy of your Student Finance England letter confirming the amount of maintenance loan you will receive to [email protected]
